The USS Potemkin is an Excelsior Class Starship based in the Star Trek Universe created by Gene Roddenbury. The year is 2382, two years after the events that transpired in Star Trek: Nemesis. This Star Trek Simulation is a Play By E-Mail (PbEM) and is rated PG-15.

The Potemkin is a member of Obsidian Fleet's Task Force 21 and can be found in the Defender's Task Group. The sim is focused on exploration and discovering new places, taking the basic concepts of what Star Trek was originally founded on, to seek out new life and new civilizations. Exploration, intrigue, suspense and captivating storylines will never be strangers with the stories that this ship goes through, nor will the friendships that will be forged.

Unit Award of Merit - Bronze

The USS Potemkin has been awarded Obsidian Fleet's Bronze Unit Award of Merit for the month of December, 2005. December has also been the sim's very first month of simming with this great crew, making this award more of a Tribute to the hard work of this Unbelievably Ultra-Fantastic group of players as opposed to being a sim award. Congrats to all of you! You deserve it!
